Find it in Darwin Settings → API → AI assistants Open this screen ↗
Add Darwin to Cursor, and Cursor’s agent can read your website chat’s results and conversations, add knowledge and update the agent while you work.

One-click install

Add Darwin to Cursor The link opens Cursor and adds Darwin. Then open Cursor Settings → MCP, select Connect (or Needs login) next to Darwin, and sign in to Darwin in the browser. Choose read only if you like, and select Allow.

Or add it to mcp.json

Add Darwin to ~/.cursor/mcp.json so it’s available in every project:
Cursor signs in to Darwin the first time it connects. To use an API key instead, add "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" } and keep the file out of any repository.

What to ask

  • “How did the chat do this week compared with last?”
  • “What did visitors ask that the agent couldn’t answer?”
  • “Show me yesterday’s leads and what they wanted.”
  • “Which opening is winning?”
  • “Add our new refund policy to what the agent knows.” (full access only)

Read only or full access

On Darwin’s consent screen, tick Read only: let it look, never change anything to let the assistant read results, conversations, leads, meetings and tests without changing anything. Leave it unticked to also let it add knowledge, change the agent’s wording and look, and manage opening tests. Only an owner or admin can allow a connection, and Settings → API → AI assistants lists every connection with a Disconnect button. All AI assistants → · MCP server reference →
