1
Check the active workspace and activation
Open Darwin and confirm the workspace name. If it says Private review, Not live, or activation is unavailable, adding a script alone will not enable the public assistant.
2
Check the hostname
Open Settings → Installation. Test the exact public URL with the domain checker. Add the correct hostname if needed. Check the
www version, bare domain, and any separate landing-page host independently.3
Check the published embed
Confirm that the live page includes the snippet from this workspace and that it loads from
app.meetdarwin.ai, not localhost. Publish website changes and clear any website cache that is still serving an old version. Avoid duplicate embeds.4
Separate the launcher from the opening
If the launcher is visible but the teaser is missing, check Chat openings → Visibility & pages, the delay, page exclusions, and previous dismissal. Mobile openings wait at least six seconds and for 40% scroll depth.
5
Check the browser and layout
Test without an extension that blocks scripts. If your site has a consent manager or content security policy, ask your developer to inspect blocked requests. Check whether another floating element covers the launcher; adjust its position and offsets in Widget appearance.
