# Keep Darwin in good shape

> A practical routine for answers, bookings, experiments, and your website.

Darwin can run opening experiments automatically. Your team still owns accurate source information, a working calendar, and the website where the chat runs.

## After your first day live

Read several conversations. Verify that answers match your product and that a completed booking appears where expected. Check desktop and mobile placement on your busiest pages.

## Weekly

* Review **Overview** for follow-up requests and test decisions.
* Read a sample of conversations, especially unknown answers and requests for a person.
* Check **Experiments** for a working schedule, paused tests, and waiting approvals.
* Review **Plan & usage** for the current allowance and recorded usage.

## When your product or website changes

| Change | Update in Darwin |
| ----------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Pricing, plans, capabilities, or policies | Refresh affected Knowledge pages and Business context. |
| Positioning or sales process | Review Identity & behavior and Chat openings. |
| New brand or website layout | Update Widget appearance; check mobile and floating controls. |
| New domain or subdomain | Allow the new hostname and verify the correct embed. |
| New calendar or routing rules | Update Scheduling and test a completed booking. |
| Teammate leaves | Remove their workspace membership. |

Repeat your [five-question assistant test](/assistant/test-assistant) after meaningful changes.

## Remove Darwin from a website

Remove the script from the site-wide template, builder, and any tag manager that injects it. Publish and verify the public page. If you are retiring a hostname, remove its allowance in **Installation** too.

Removing the embed does not cancel the subscription. Manage renewal separately in [Plan & usage](/account/manage-billing). Turning off the opening card only hides the teaser; it is not a complete uninstall.
