# A booking is missing or not working

> Separate a calendar problem from a tracking or billing problem.

## The calendar does not open

Check **Settings → Scheduling**. The destination must be a public HTTPS booking page. Open it signed out and confirm it does not require your administrator session. Test the actual path from the chat, including the contact form.

If the provider blocks embedding, its page may not work inside a frame. Confirm the supported booking experience with Darwin before treating the integration as complete.

## The appointment exists, but Darwin does not show it

A saved URL only gives the visitor a destination. A completed booking must also reach Darwin through a supported completion signal and, for billing, verified attribution.

Check:

1. The appointment really exists in the scheduling provider.
2. It came through the intended Darwin conversation and workspace.
3. The provider’s completion tracking or confirmation return has been configured and verified.
4. You are viewing the correct conversation and reporting period.

The current widget recognizes RevenueHero booking signals and a configured confirmation-return flow. Do not assume all calendar providers send the same event.

## Analytics shows an outcome, but billing does not

Conversation outcomes and verified billing usage are separate. Browser-reported outcomes alone do not authorize a charge. Billing may also take time to process a verified event.

Do not fabricate a booking event, repeat a real appointment, or manually mark a charge just to make the numbers match. Gather the conversation reference, provider booking reference, workspace, and time for review.
